THE FAT AND FLUFFY SONG
No, Betty did not write this song. Rickey, Bobbie and David had stopped by Hardee's in East Ridge and they heard a man and woman not from this area Mark Forester and his wife. They were from somewhere up north and they sang this song. Brother Earl Dunn told Rickey that song was meant for him and so begins the saga of the fat and fluffy song or the Hardee's song as we sometimes call it.
It took us five months to get an OK from Mark Forester to perform the song in public. He said that we could do the song in public however he could not give us the rights to record the song on CD. He had co-authored the song with someone else and that they held the mechanical rights to the song.
So if you enjoy this little song now you know. Rickey only sings the song and no, Betty did not write it although it could have been something that she wrote especially the part that says it's not what I ate I'm just short for my weight.
