Betty (Sanders) Bradford

Betty (Sanders) Bradford formed the group in May of 1996 along with long time friend Louise Edgeworth and Wayne Day. They felt the leadership of God of sing Southern Gospel music and to had a desire to see lost souls saved.

Betty has been singing since she was three years old when her mom stood her on an old wooden chair and she sang "Yes, Jesus Loves Me".  She went on to sing lead with her family the Barnes Family at 9 years old.   She has sang with groups like The Singing Evangels, The Believers, Freedom Gospel Singers which was the group she left before forming New Day Gospel Singers.

Betty is the mother of two grown daughters and she has five grandchildren.  She married her husband Eddie in 1998 and he joined the group soon after.

Betty sings alto and plays keyboard she also writes many of the songs that the group sings.  The Lord has given her words to songs like From The Manger To The Cross, Mercy, Gonna Keep Walking With Jesus, Forgiven and many others.  The Lord saw fit to provide for her to have professional sound tracks recorded for some of her songs the first of 2008.  God truly has been good to Betty over the years and she has seen New Day Gospel Singers evolve into what it is today.
